The mission of the Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation Dept. is to deliver high-quality leisure time opportunities through safe, well-organized, and affordable activity programs and special events. The Parks & Recreation Dept. facilitates an array of leisure opportunities for all age groups that enhance Town residents’ physical, intellectual, social, and cultural growth and development. The department ensures reasonable access to all programs by bridging physical and economic gaps that could impede participation.
Fireworks Picnic-in-a-Box Fundraiser to Benefit Parks & Rec Foundation
The Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation Foundation announces its first-ever Firework Picnic Fundraiser in conjunction with the planned Town fireworks on the evenings of July 3 and July 5.
Supporters will be able to pre-order picnic boxes for curbside pick-up from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center on the day of the fireworks, rain, or shine.
